Our Story

Talent alone, unfortunately, has never been enough to guarantee success for young people – accessing networks and getting a Shot at the right opportunities for you is key.

We knew smartphone and digital tech was a gamechanger so we launched a test platform to see what was happening in search and to explore the ability of fingers, screens and contentto open new worlds.

Young people helped shape the proposition, contributing as team members but also as valued contributors and Influencers and we soaked up the learning.

Consulting 500+ organisations, we found most hadn’t tracked a power shift and very few had considered how the first truly digital generation (X) would engage with the world (and with them).

We knew it would be on their smartphone, via entertaining and informative content relevant to individual Passions.  They have far more Passions than business is aware of; and business has more connections to Passions than themselves realise.

We identified how both ends of the chain could connect – shared Passions.

We tested different channels, Shots organisations and brands across regions and demographics, growing Slenky and its’ reach, and adding value to partners’ ability to connect.

Our conclusion:  Business can have incredible social reach and impact – and benefit greatly by being socially-accessible to audiences following their Passions.
